Spring & Fall Golf Tournaments

The Y’s Men Golf organizes golf tournaments and outings for golf loving Y’s Men members. There are normally two tournaments a year, one in the spring and one in the fall at our home course, the Longshore Club. Prizes are awarded in the tournaments and there will be a gathering afterwards at our watering hole, the Black Duck. All members are welcome to join the fun regardless of skill levels, whether you are a scratch golfer or a hacker.

Monday Games At Longshore

Starting April 22, 2024 the Y’s Men have received the exclusive use of 3 tee times (11:30 / 11:40/11:50) at Longshore Golf Course every Monday. Each Friday a Y’s Men email will be sent to those of you who sign up. This is separate from the sign-up link for Spring and Fall Tournaments. If there are more players than available tee times, slots will be assigned based on first come basis and equity for those that may not have been assigned to play as often. By Sunday midday a tee sheet with each selected player’s name and time will be circulated to all on the interested player list.

Should there be a tournament or for any reason these times become unavailable we will get the first 3 twilight tee times around 4:00 / 4:10 / 4:20.

We have requested that ALL Y’s Men be granted resident green fee status and, as of this posting, we are awaiting a response.
