For many years the Y’s Men have operated a summer tennis program at the Longshore Tennis Courts. Traditionally, we play from May to Sept. on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. We play doubles for an hour and a half. We can accommodate players of all ages and skill levels.

This year our usual planning and early season playing has been postponed due to the Corona Virus and the Town’s decision to only allow singles play up to this point. This week the Town has now authorized doubles play (partially due to Y’s Men advocacy).

Since we have such a large number of players, we divide the guys into three groups.

There is a cost to get a tennis hand pass from the Westport Parks and Rec. for $115 if you are a Westport resident. If you are not a Westport resident you will have to pay the daily fee when you play, double check with the Westport Parks and Rec to determine prices. There will also be a de minimis charge for balls and our seasonal court reservation fee.
