      • Meetings are scheduled for 9:30 am the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
      • We also schedule excursions for taking photos and currently encourage members to travel independently and social distance at the destination.
      • During non-pandemic times we meet in person at the Sr. Center.
  • The mission of club is to encourage its members to take photos and help each other learn better shooting and digital editing techniques. We accomplish this by encouraging members to take photos and by viewing and discussing each other’s photos and sharing our knowledge of various editing software. Photographers with all levels of knowledge are welcome.
  • As a group, we choose themes for members to shoot and be shown at the regular meetings. GoToMeeting allows presenters to show their photos for the group to view and discuss.
  • Currently we do not require to dues to join the group and communicate via an email list maintained by the cochairs.
  • During normal, non-pandemic times members’ photos are printed and hung at the Sr. Center. The club also hosts an Expo where members of the Y’s Men and the Westport Senior Center and their wives are encouraged to submit photos for judging and hanging at the Westport Center for Senior Activities. We have not made decisions about if or how we might carry on these traditions this year.
  • Anyone interested in photography at any level is encouraged to email or call Hal or Sal to learn more and get on our email list.
