Welcome to the Ys Men Ski Club! We are a group of about 20 Ys Men that like to get outdoors and enjoy the winter and snow. Subject to weather conditions, every week starting in mid-December and continuing through the end of March, we make weekly trips to Butternut Ski Area in Great Barrington, MA. It is an informal group, and some Ys Men skiers are with us almost every week while others participate less frequently when conditions suit them. Everyone is welcome as there are skiers at all levels of ability in our club.

Butternut Ski Area (https://www.skibutternut.com) is about an hour and 45-minute drive from Westport. We meet at the Merritt Parkway Exit 42 commuter parking lot to form carpools and depart for Butternut no later than 8:00 AM sharp. We ski until 2:30 or 3:00 and arrive back at the commuter parking lot by 5:00 PM.

Generally, the default day is Tuesday, but we often select another day if conditions warrant. I send a weekly email blast to club members summarizing the snow conditions in advance and ask who is planning on joining in that week.

A daily midweek ski pass costs $40. The senior discount has been discontinued.
